CADS Season Finale

Performed at ChristChurch, Cockermouth (18-20th July). CADS performed Lorca’s play translated by Michael Dewell & Carmen Zapata. It was performed in the round which helped the audience feel the powerful energy that the actors brought to their parts.  This was further aided by being allowed to stage it in a Church which was a perfect setting for Blood Wedding. It was written in 1932 but it still resonated with the audience. Many were  suprised at how moving the play was finding themselves reaching for their tissues. Drinks and spanish style snacks were served at the interval.
